Prince of Persiahas always been a pretty solid franchise. High flying acrobatics and fluid combat acompany polished and stylistic graphics across the many games released both this generation and last. With Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands these things we have come to expect are represented well and it even brings a few new things to the table like the ability to manipulate the elements. Check the review above to see if this is one trip to the desert worth taking.

Red Dead Redemption or RDR as it will be referred to is a game that came out of nowhere. Even leading industry analysts wrote the game off a few months back stating that it wouldn't sell very well at all. But then the reviews started coming in and when a game puts up scores in the 9.5 - 10 range gamers pay attention. We here at the Lounge have been playing this obsessively for the past few days. Breaking in stallions, shooting innocent wildlife, and generally wreaking havoc is an absolute blast in this game. If your on the fence about which version of the game to get, The Sixth Axis put up a nice story comparing the two games graphical capabilities and short comings. Be sure to check it out.

Ahhh Lost Planet...where to begin. Although released with a fair amount of hype around the original, Lost Planet has never taken the gaming world by storm. It sold well enough but also had its fair share of problems. Now out with a sequel, the Lost Planet franchise attempts to take itself to the next level by warming players up and moving the fight out of the snow-covered expanses of the original.
